Who are we?
Travel2Connect is a small-scale social enterprise that offers interns and volunteers the opportunity - if you are open to it - to learn from another culture. We put you in direct contact with the local inhabitants of Gambia or Senegal. We strive for you to have an authentic and unique experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Activities
If you want to gain a unique experience as a nurse in a developing country such as The Gambia or Senegal, Travel2Connect offers you this opportunity. You can choose from both local and professional hospitals. You walk along with doctors and nurses as they do their rounds past the patients. You observe and help with treatments and sometimes also with operations. In addition, you can help in the laboratory, at the doctor's office or in the pharmacy. In this way you gain a broad experience.

We ask
* You are at least 18 years old on the departure date.

* You are physically and mentally healthy.

* You are patient, flexible, reliable and interested in other cultures.

* You have experience regarding the vacancy or you are following a training course for this.

* There is a registration procedure.

* You pay the costs that volunteer work in Gambia or Senegal entails, such as preparation and supervision costs, flight ticket, accommodation costs and meals.
