In the Netherlands, thousands of refugee children and young people grow up in asylum seekers' centers and emergency shelters. They are vulnerable and deserve our attention. The Council for Refugees has developed the Time4You project especially for them.
Time4You offers information and weekly group meetings for children (8 – 12 years) and young people (13 – 17 years) in asylum seekers' centers and emergency reception locations. During the meetings we discuss themes, provide information, children and young people are given the opportunity to ask questions or tell their story and we organize fun activities. Time4You focuses on the empowerment of children and young people living in asylum seekers' centers and stands up for their interests.
