Do you love books, meeting people, and sustainability? Then we are looking for you!
Every Saturday afternoon at Thuis, we give donated books a second life. Visitors come to browse through the books and meet each other. The proceeds from the bookstall help make Thuis's mission possible: bridging differences to make a difference together!
What are you going to do?
- Setting up and taking down the book stall (a bit of lifting!)
- receive visitors
- Selling books
When?
Saturday afternoon, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Together we will determine what works in terms of frequency.
What do we offer?
- A friendly and diverse community
- An inspiring place in the heart of Wageningen
- Room to contribute ideas and take initiative
Would you like to participate? We would love to get to know you.

About Home
Thuis Wageningen is a community initiative working towards a different way of living together. We connect people from different walks of life and bring them into action together for the city.
Our starting point is simple: the challenges we face worldwide are also playing out here in Wageningen, and here we can make a real difference! This is only possible if people meet each other and if they apply precisely their diverse talents, ideas, and experience.
What does Thuis do then?
In short:
- The Stadskamer serves as an open meeting place (open Tuesday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00),
- There are many activities you can participate in: https://www.thuiswageningen.nl/agenda/
- support for people with ideas or initiatives for the city, and
- spaces that you can rent for meetings or your activities
