As a volunteer of the language café you help once every two weeks on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The language café provides the opportunity to practice talking in an informal setting.

Job description:

As a volunteer of the language café you help once every two weeks on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. The language café provides the opportunity to practice talking in an informal setting. Anyone who wants to learn Dutch is welcome. The language cafés take place once every two weeks on Tuesday evenings. Every meeting has a specific topic. For example, the news, or something typical of Dutch culture. On the spot, groups are formed that have approximately the same language level, as a volunteer you guide one of the groups. The groups consist of approximately 4 people. Several volunteers are present on the evening itself.

Job requirements:

To be able to speak Dutch clearly and simply; Be able to explain clear Dutch words and grammar, possibly by means of handouts, pictures, etc .; friendly.

What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:

- we meet several times with the volunteers to prepare themes for the language cafes - 1 half-day training for language café volunteers.

Working time:

Every two weeks on Wednesday from 19:00 to 21:00 (even weeks)> In addition, a few times volunteers come together to prepare themes of the language cafés for language café volunteers. On average 5 hours per month.
