We are immediately looking for two new volunteers for the communication team: - A creative content employee - A social media hit
Are you a star in writing lyrics and do social media have no secrets for you? Can you make people curious about our performances like no other and do you easily step into the role of reporter to make a nice retrospective? Do you know with which news and background stories you can boost our social media channels?
Then we have a nice place for you!
As a volunteer communication at Theater Het Pakhuis you are responsible for internal communication with the employees and volunteers and external communication with our artists and our (potential) audience. You ensure that the information about the theater and the performances is visible through various channels and ensure that the promotional material reaches the target groups. You have monthly meetings with the team to look at the activities and points for attention for the coming time, which are then divided among themselves.
Job description:
Within our enthusiastic communication team, we are still looking for a creative content employee: a word artist who can easily write catchy texts for our various channels and look for the right image. For example, you create newsletters, social media posts and press releases.
In addition, we have another vacancy open for a social media topper who, together with a fellow volunteer, wants to manage our social media channels and take them to a higher level. You become the editor-in-chief and you determine what is posted on our social media channels. This way you make others enthusiastic to come and experience the magic in our theater!
Mutual division of tasks and size in consultation, each approximately 2 to 8 hours per week
For both communication functions we are looking for someone who:
- has some experience in communication work
- can work independently as well as within a team
- is flexible in availability and easily accessible for questions and coordination (by email, app or telephone)
- periodically available for consultation
- has a sense of responsibility
- has a computer and can handle programs such as Microsoft Teams
- pro but not a must: familiarity with programs such as Mailchimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, Canva and / or InDesign
You are our ideal creative content employee as ...
- you get a good text right up your sleeve and final editing is also devoted to you;
- you enjoy approaching colleagues, artists and visitors to create content in a creative way, for example in the form of a blog, vlog, interviews or anything else that you think fits! You take the plunge and know how to make them enthusiastic to cooperate;
- you also have an eye for image use and design;
- has a good command of the Dutch language (both speaking and writing).
And our ideal social media hit ...
- knows how to find their way on social media and makes optimal use of it;
- understands that an image sometimes says more than 1000 words and uses that cleverly;
- does not shy away from vlogging and / or making videos;
- takes our social media to a higher level by innovating and analyzing what works.
