Our NGO also in the Netherlands?
After my emigration to The Gambia for 10 years I have learned a lot and have always been involved in various charity projects, also for other NGOs. This gave me the idea to set up it professionally, in view of the deteriorating times and the increase in help requests: Thus The Xippia Project was born, a solid (online) platform where everyone can go. Whether it concerns projects, sponsors, students, material donations, sharing knowledge and experience, or volunteers. In fact, it is an effective energy bundle, full of synergy.
The heartfelt wish is to also expand Xippia with a Dutch branch. That makes it a lot easier for us to collect (international) payments via our website / funding campaigns. Moreover, it has the advantage that the tax authorities in the Netherlands can then give us an ANBI status, which makes donations from the business community tax deductible for them. The ANBI status also creates more confidence.
Boots on Dutch ground also means that the collection and shipping of material goods can be better coordinated. Unfortunately, registration in the Netherlands is not possible for the time being because I no longer have a permanent place of residence there.
