We are looking for volunteers who can link refugees with a residence status and possible host families, or as we call them matching.
We have a careful matching process in which we want to facilitate the best match possible on the basis of the specified profiles and wishes of both refugee and host families.
In addition, the matchmaker follows and guides the refugee and the host family during the entire stay period. We see the facilitating role of 'matchmaker' for people who have the right conversation techniques, who have affinity / experience with our target groups and who can summarize them well.
Activities
- Organizing and planning an intake and match meeting
- Conducting intake interviews with a status holder and a host family
- Setting up a status holder and host family
- Matching status holder and host family, conducting matching sessions
- Tracking and supervising a status holder and host family during a stay
- Making proposals for process improvements in the matching process
Competencies
- Being adept at methodical interviewing
- Being able to get clear expectations
- Creativity in solution-oriented work, perseverance and a positive view of problems and you itdagingen
- Be able to critically assess situations and then act
- Integer with confidential information can go
- Minimum knowledge of the English language
- Written expression skills for drawing up the profiles of host families and status holders (preferably in English)
- Social skills and communication skills eg for maintaining informative contacts with host families and status holders
- Empathic, intercultural and customer-oriented working
- Stress resistance and improvised ability
- Being able to work independently and in a team

Takecarebnb is een organisatie die statushouders die in AZC's aan het wachten zijn op hun eigen woning in matcht met gastgezinnen in heel Nederland voor een logeerperiode van maximaal drie maanden, of korter, als ze eerder een woning aangeboden krijgen.
Dit doen wij vanuit de overtuiging dat logeren een unieke kans is voor statushouders om sneller en succesvoller te integreren en een unieke manier is om Nederlanders in contact te brengen met de nieuwe bewoners van Nederland.
We begeleiden dit proces zeer zorgvuldig en we zoeken dan ook meer vrijwilligers die ons daarbij kunnen helpen.
