About Taartrovers Film Festival
The Taartrovers Film Festival is aimed at children from two to nine years old and offers a place where watching and listening go hand in hand with discovering, telling and creating. The festival consists of a film program and interactive part in "The Playground of the Imagination", which are thematically intertwined. The upcoming edition in 2018 is the theme 'Letter soup & Prentenkoek'. We pay tribute to the book. To stories that are read and read over and over again. Fantastic illustrations that tell as much as words in children's books, but also the form and material of the book: the paper, the fabric, the glue, the ink and the cardboard. The colors, the letters, the typical book smell. The illusion of the usual flat two-dimensional surface, but also the surprising three-dimensional surface of pop-up books. We want children to dive into the books literally and figuratively and find inspiration to shape their own stories. The program takes shape in a film program with an eye for stories that are portrayed in a special way, the Playground of the Imagination with eight different installations, a film program and its own book publication (Het Taartrovers Do-Book). \ N \nActivities \n \nThe Taartrovers Film Festival is produced by Stichting Taartrovers Festival. During the festival, a fantastic "Playground of the Imagination" will open up in various film theaters throughout the country, with the theme "Letter Soup & Prentenkoek". The festival offers children from 2 to 9 years old the opportunity to discover the wonderful world of images and sound. In an "interactive landscape" that invites you to use your imagination and experience stories, children meet and share stories in their interaction. With the films, installations, materials and workshops on offer, children give substance to their own fantasy world. The programming consists of a film program and an interactive part. The film program consists of imaginative films that appeal to the viewer's imagination. The interactive program takes place in the "Playground of the Imagination", in which many installations and workshops are integrated (a place where watching and listening go hand in hand with discovering, telling and creating). In addition, a school program is being realized in a number of cities.
