Are you reading this right?

Within Taalhuis Lochem Zutphen, local organizations and companies work together to help people who are low literate or have a language deficiency. This not only concerns refugees, but also people born and raised in the Netherlands who want to read and write better.
Low literacy means that someone has difficulty reading and writing, or math. This often also means that someone is less digitally skilled. As a language supporter, you guide the low-literate person in reading and writing better.

We are looking for

volunteers who want to help others to reduce their language deficiency.

We do this by connecting with each other to what the language recipient needs. The lower the threshold, the sooner you create a basis of security and trust together. Both indispensable to be able to learn and grow.

What do we ask of you

It is important that you enjoy language yourself. And that you like to take someone else along in that fun and that you can be happy with small steps forward!
