FURTHER DESCRIPTION
As a voluntary senior information officer you make home visits to residents of 70 + in Apeldoorn. During these visits you inform this target group about arrangements and facilities in the field of care, welfare, finances, assistance and activities. So it is beautiful work that makes sense, but also makes sense!
The purpose of the visit is only information and advice, you are the signpost. In situations where more help is needed, contact is made with the elderly advisor or the residents' support staff from Stimenz or, for example, with network organizations such as the Kap. The Senior Information Coordinator from Stimenz is happy to think along with you in this regard.
The visit to the senior in Apeldoorn is a one-off. Of course we stick to the RIVM guidelines given the Corona. The wishes of the senior, but also of you as an information officer are central here. Everyone should feel good when visiting!
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
We are currently visiting the NoordOost district. The kilometers you make for the visits are reimbursed.
In addition to this expense allowance, there is a fixed fee of € 25 per month.
As a volunteer, you are asked to commit 2 half-days per week, these are 4 home visits. The home visits are made during the day, in the morning or in the afternoon. There will be no visits in the evenings.
The senior information officers have a team meeting once every 6/8 weeks where they meet as a team and exchange experiences. This moment can also be used for knowledge expansion within a pre-selected theme. We also try to make it as fun, challenging, interesting and educational as possible for you as an educator!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Information for seniors is an interesting task; you meet a lot of people and stay informed about the latest regulations. It is valuable because you can mean something to your fellow citizens!
You work together within the team of senior information officers in which you get to know each other a little better and we combine the pleasant with the instructive.
