The WORLD KITCHEN brings residents together.
The World Kitchen started from the meeting place de Graanhof. During this meal, on Friday evening, you will prepare meals from different cultures as a coordinating volunteer with two residents from the asylum seekers' center. By inviting them to contribute to the WORLD KITCHEN we help new neighborhood residents to feel less isolated in the neighbourhood. In this way, old residents can become acquainted with the rich culture of the new residents. We are looking for a volunteer to join the current team for the Wereldkeuken. The tasks that put together the menu together with the 2 residents of ACZ, get groceries, support in cooking the meal, receive guests and / or clean up. Stimenz is an organization for social work for Apeldoorn and the Veluwe. In Apeldoorn our assignment includes broad social work and in the Veluwe we offer social work and social legal services. Citizens in our work area can rely on the efforts and involvement of Stimenz's 180 employees and approximately 900 volunteers. Together we work to increase well-being, citizen and neighborhood strength. We do this, among other things, by creating social connections in districts, neighborhoods and villages, tackling individual issues through social work and, where possible, deploying collective solutions and translating signals into new initiatives. We do this together with volunteers and active citizens based on reciprocity and involvement.
