About Stichting antiwarcoalition.art
Our organization’s social goal is to foster, support, and disseminate artistic and cultural practices—across digital and physical formats—that critically engage with war, armed conflict, systemic violence, and other urgent global challenges. We aim to create spaces for experimentation, reflection, and public dialogue, encouraging artistic works that question dominant narratives and contribute to deeper social understanding.
To achieve this, we provide structural and creative support to artists and cultural practitioners through exhibitions, hybrid platforms, and experimental formats. We also collaborate with individuals, institutions, and partner organizations that share similar objectives, strengthening networks that promote socially engaged art and critical discourse.
All activities of the organization are conducted exclusively to advance its mission and are not intended to generate profit. The Foundation operates in pursuit of public benefit objectives and strives to qualify as a public benefit organization in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
Our primary target group includes:
Artists and cultural practitioners working on themes related to war, conflict, systemic violence, and global crises;
Researchers, curators, and interdisciplinary collaborators engaged in critical cultural production;
Audiences and communities seeking meaningful artistic engagement with pressing social and political issues;
Partner organizations and institutions aligned with socially engaged and public-interest cultural initiatives.
Through our programs, we aim to connect creators and audiences, fostering critical awareness, dialogue, and socially responsible cultural development.
