About Stichting Zwiepse Molen

The Zwiepse windmill is a listed building and owned by the Foundation.
The current mill was originally built in 1851 by E. Postel near “De Diepe Put” on the Zwiepse Berg near Barchem. After that, the mill was moved several times due to unfavorable wind conditions. In 1880 the mill was built on its current location.
In 1992, for the preservation of the mill, it was housed in the “Foundation for the preservation of Zwiepse Molen”.
From that time on, Evert Postel Jr. with his wife a feed store and restaurant.
