The secretary is the memory of the organization. He/she sets up a good information system in which it is easy to search for documents, reports and contacts.
Duties of the secretary include;
● Acting as an information point for management and outsiders.
● Ensure that mail is answered on time.
● Assess whether received documents should be brought to the attention of the board.
● Ensure that board members and stakeholders have relevant information in a timely manner.
● Collect, organize and manage relevant information in an accessible archive.
● Prepare the agenda together with the chairman.
● Reporting of meetings.
● Send meeting documents, reports and agenda to board members.
● Carry out other correspondence.
● Draw up the policy plan and annual report together with the chairman.
● Monitor the registration with the Chamber of Commerce.
Job requirements for the secretary role are:

The ward councilors are committed and active people who live or work in the ward. They are elected democratically or not by local residents, or they register themselves. The district council advises the municipal executive, solicited and unsolicited, about developments and/or problems in the district.
What is the purpose of the neighborhood council De Bothoven?
The mission of the neighborhood council is to reduce the distance between government and citizens and to involve residents in the physical management and quality of life of the neighbourhood.
