We are looking for
More and more people are struggling with their finances. Do not come out themselves and get into debt. Debt has a huge impact. As a volunteer at B € L Budget Advice Center you can make a difference in someone's life. How do you do that? You bring an overview of the income and expenditure (and any unpaid bills). Then you make a plan for a solution together. You think along, offer practical help and encourage. But just as important is that you want to be there for someone. Especially in Gorssel we are looking for volunteers who can make a difference in this!
What do we ask of you
As a B € L volunteer you help clients to gain an overview and insight into income and expenditure and to draw up a budget overview. In addition, you provide support in filling in forms such as remittances, municipalities and rent / care allowance or you provide support in arranging a debt settlement.
Patience, life experience and secrecy of confidential matters are important attributes. It is also good that you can put things into perspective and that you can attend volunteer meetings.
