Detailed description
Job description
Is language really your thing? Do you have limited time but still want to help refugees? Are you curious and eager to experience a different culture yourself? Become a language coach!
As a language coach, we'll pair you with a refugee. For about two hours a week, you'll work together to practice Dutch in a practical way. This could be at home, at the library, or even in a store while grocery shopping. This not only improves your Dutch but also increases your self-reliance. Do you enjoy the challenge of approaching this creatively? Then this is perfect for you!
This is what you get
- A stimulating work environment with room for your own development.
- Plenty of opportunities to learn more about other cultures.
- Pleasant team under the guidance of a professional.
- Extensive induction program and the opportunity to also take various courses.
- Travel expenses reimbursement.
What do you need to become a language coach?
As a language coach, you must be able to work independently. You also need a certain degree of flexibility and patience. Respectful interaction with cultural differences is a given. Ideally, you should be available for at least two hours per week for at least one year. We require a Certificate of Good Conduct from all our employees.
