Participation coach Cultural Connectors Project

Vluchtelingenwerk and Stimenz have joined forces for the Cultuurverbinders project. During this project, 6 refugees who have been in the Netherlands for a number of years will gain practical experience within various Stimenz teams for a period of 9 months. During this period, they will be supervised by participation coaches from Vluchtelingenwerk. As a coach, you will reflect on the experiences that the participant gains in the workplace, among other things. You will also work together on a Personal Development Plan (PDP). The goal of the project and for you as a coach is to support participants in taking steps towards sustainable participation.

Job description

As a participation coach you have the following tasks:

• Guiding the client during the Cultural Connectors process; you discuss the progress of the process and any points of attention and have a signaling role in this
• Maintain contact with the relevant authorities and organisations (including Stimenz)
• Participate in team meetings
• Provide up-to-date information on the social map in the municipality
• Administrative registration of activities in the Refugee Monitoring System (VVS)
