Office hours employee Refugee Work

As an office hour employee, you answer short questions from clients. You provide support in filling out forms, advise on matters of the municipality, around living, insurance and payment. You mediate in contacts with authorities and register in our digital client system.

In this role it is important to have knowledge of the social map of Apeldoorn or to be willing to acquire it. You work systematically to meet the client's request for help. You can communicate clearly and give a clear but simple explanation.

The office hours are on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 13:00 to 16:00. We are currently looking for an office hour employee for Tuesday afternoons.

It is important that a consultation hour employee

• Is empathetic and likes to lend a listening ear.
• Mastered the Dutch language (spoken and written) at a minimum B1 level
• Can work systematically.
• Is able to easily make contact (both with refugees and with authorities)
• Enthusiastic and initiative-rich.
• Available during office hours on Tuesday afternoons between 13:00 and 16:00
