Job description
As a legal counselor you support refugees with residence rights procedures. You work independently and in a team and are supported by a qualified team leader.
Common tasks include:
- Providing explanations and information (sometimes in groups) about the asylum procedure
- Initiating, monitoring and supervising applications for family reunification
- Support when family members come over
- Maintaining contact with lawyers, COA, IND and other authorities
- Explain letters and forms that clients receive
- Answering (legal) questions from refugees during consultation hours
