Classroom Assistant (volunteer)

Job description

Are you open to new international contacts where you can also learn something yourself? Do you have experience in teaching or would you like to gain this? Then we are looking for you!

As a classroom assistant, you guide students during integration lessons. You support the teacher, so you are not responsible for the content of the lesson yourself. In small groups or one-on-one, you work on assignments and motivate refugees to (dare to) speak Dutch. In this way, you help refugees move forward.

What do you need to become a classroom assistant?

As a classroom assistant, you have good communication skills. You enjoy stimulating and motivating students, individually or in small groups. You can convey information clearly, are patient and respectful and you can improvise. You are available for at least one half day per week, preferably for a period of one year. We request a Certificate of Conduct from all our employees.
