As a classroom assistant, you guide students during integration lessons. You support the teacher.
Job description
Are you open to new international contacts where you can also learn something new? Do you have teaching experience or are you eager to gain it? Then we're looking for you!
As a classroom assistant, you'll guide students through integration classes. You'll support the teacher, so you're not personally responsible for the lesson content. In small groups or one-on-one, you'll work on assignments and encourage refugees to speak Dutch. This way, you'll help refugees progress.

What do you need to become a classroom assistant?
As a classroom assistant, you possess excellent communication skills. You enjoy encouraging and motivating students, individually or in small groups. You can convey information clearly, are patient and respectful, and are adept at improvising. You are available for at least half a day per week, preferably for a period of one year. We require a Certificate of Good Conduct from all our staff.
