Coordinator Language Coaches and Classroom Assistants (volunteer) Apeldoorn

As a coordinator, you will conduct introductory interviews with new volunteers, explaining their work. You will also establish links between volunteers and non-native speakers. You will also organize semi-annual volunteer meetings and monitor progress through regular contact with volunteers. Finally, you will ensure proper administrative processing of all data.

What are we asking?

VluchtelingenWerk is looking for a volunteer with HBO work and thinking level, who wants to commit for a longer period 1 to 2 half days per week. As a volunteer you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Strong organizational skills, enjoy arranging things

• Affinity with the target group of refugees and with (Dutch) education

• Ability to work in a structured manner

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently

• Good computer skills

• Flexibility and creativity in dealing with unexpected and unknown situations
