About Stichting VakantieKind

The VakantieKind Foundation is a non-profit organization that runs entirely on volunteers. Our goal is to allow children from all walks of life to enjoy an affordable holiday together in a different location than their usual place of residence. Our summer camps have been run by enthusiastic volunteers for over 25 years. For example, we organize a wonderful week for children and young people with games in the forest, on the field, with water and with toys. In addition, we make a nice campfire every evening. The KookLeiding provides the meals and they deserve a big round of applause every day. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to accompany our weekend. The VakantieKind Foundation (www.vakantiekind.nl) organizes camps for 4 age groups: • For the 7-11 year olds there is KinderDorp. For the 11-14 year olds we have Teenage Wood. • There is YouthCamping for 14-16 year olds. • For the 14-17 year olds there is the JongerenHike.

The camp forms are completely different in design; your choice will therefore strongly depend on your personal preference for, for example, age group, type of activities, etc. What we offer you as a guide is of course, in addition to an unforgettable and educational week, full room and board. And a view of the forest, a beautiful heather and a campfire in the evening.
