Summary

You can arrange the best children's parties for our target group from home. Take a quick look at our website at "working at" for more information.

Detailed description

Job profile Party Coordinator (voluntary)

parties! That's what it's all about for us. Let as many children as possible who grow up in poverty in the Netherlands celebrate parties with their friends. These lovely children are also looking forward to their children's party but have never or almost never been able to experience it until now.

Would you like to arrange this for these children? Do you want to search and call party locations? And coordinate and organize data and all other associated matters with parents/intermediaries? You then ensure that a birthday child has a great birthday with his friends and is not left out.

What are you going to do? As a Party Coordinator you organize and coordinate party requests. Applications for a children's party first come in at one point at the Stichting Uitstelt Kinderfeestjes (StUK). A central assessment is made as to whether we can process the application. If this is agreed, we will forward the request to one of the Party Coordinators.

So maybe to you! You will then be the director of the children's party. You coordinate and organize the party from A to Z. Make agreements with the referrer/applicant about contact, discuss the options, coordinate expectations and arrange everything with the party locations. The referrer is the care provider that refers the children to us. A suitable children's party is: a complete party (entrance fees for the activity) including a snack and drink at the start and/or at the end of the party.

The group consists of a maximum of 8 children and 2 adult supervisors per party. The party requests you coordinate come from all over the country. With the use of the Internet this is not a problem. Do some googling and you'll find what you're looking for. Oh yes, not unimportant. You work from home with your own PC and telephone. Your availability Your availability is flexible. An application has an average turnaround time of 6 weeks and organizing a party costs approximately 1 hour per party.

It would be nice if a Party Coordinator wanted to link at least 5 parties per month. We can adjust this number in consultation.

A few more tasks in a row

✓ Contact with the party locations/referrer/parents-caregivers;

✓ Exploring/inventing the child's wishes/hobbies and possibilities;

✓ Search and approach party locations in the immediate vicinity of the child;

✓ Completing the party request, actually arranging the party, naturally in line with the possibilities and wishes of the child/family;

✓ Administration, processing all contacts and confirmations in system.

What do you stand for? Just like us, you think it is important to create social impact with your expertise. You love children and also believe that happiness and creating moments of happiness in children gives double power. Like us, you think it's important that children who have their birthday can celebrate a children's party with their friends. We are committed to this together. You also have great empathy. You understand and can place yourself in the circumstances in which our target group lives. You are patient and like to make yourself understood with hands and feet.

What else do we ask?

✓ An average availability of 2 hours per week

✓ You want to act as an ambassador for StUK ✓ Strong communication skills (oral and written)

✓ Initiative, proactive, result-oriented

✓ You are an average MS Office user. What do we offer?

✓ A motivated team with colleagues throughout the country

✓ A challenging position in which you can make your own contribution ✓ Expansion of your network

✓ Opportunity to share knowledge with colleagues from StUK

✓ Periodically there are events of the foundation

✓ The opportunity to be socially active in your own way

✓ This is a voluntary, so unpaid position

We would love to see who you are and how you want to blow up the balloons with us! We look forward to your response! Festive greeting, Team StUK

About Stichting Uitgestelde Kinderfeestjes

What does the Deferred Children's Parties Foundation do?
Unfortunately, it is not obvious for thousands of children to throw a children's party for their birthday. The Deferred Children's Parties Foundation offers children in poverty a day to remember. We ensure that this vulnerable target group has the afternoon of their lives and let them enjoy a fully catered party. The children's parties are organized outside the home and we take the worry completely out of the hands of parents. As a result, they also experience a carefree and pleasant afternoon.

Eating cake and playing games together

During the birthday parties, games are played, children make the most beautiful crafts or football is played outside. Sports, culture, nature and technology are themes for the children's parties that we organize. In addition to all the activities, there is also cake and a present for the birthday boy or girl. That makes the party complete!

Every donation is a party
More and more children in the Netherlands live in poverty. Parents have no money to organize a birthday party and children celebrate their birthday without a gift or in the worst case not at all. We want to change this and believe that children should be able to feel like children again.

We need your help with this. Together we ensure that children get a smile on their face again. They are the center of attention for an afternoon and enjoy their birthday!

Thanks to your contribution we make a child happy!
Would you like to become a volunteer with us? Even if you have an hour to spare a week, we can really use your help.

The Deferred Children's Parties Foundation is an Apeldoorn foundation that is active nationally.
