Volunteer at Stadsboerderij Wageningen. You help care for the animals, keep the site clean and tidy, and you are a friendly point of contact for visitors.
At Stadsboerderij you volunteer 1 or 2 shifts per month. Each shift is 4 hours. You care for the animals, keep the farm tidy, and you welcome visitors.
What you will do
- Feed the animals, provide fresh water, and do daily care
- Clean and check animal enclosures
- Keep the grounds and public areas clean and tidy
- Welcome visitors and answer questions
- Report any animal welfare concerns to the team
Who we are looking for
- You are calm, friendly, and clear when speaking with children and visitors
- You work neatly and you are physically able to do tasks such as lifting, sweeping, and cleaning
- You are reliable and keep your commitments
- Experience with animals is a plus, but not required
- You speak Dutch or English
- A VOG is required. Stadsboerderij will arrange this for you free of charge

Working hours and planning
- Saturday or Sunday
- Morning shift 09:00 to 13:00
- Afternoon shift 12:30 to 16:30
- 1 or 2 shifts per month, total 4 to 8 hours per month
- You share your availability. A volunteer creates the schedule based on preferences
