Summary
Come and help out in the nature playground once or twice a month outside opening hours. In addition to mowing the lawn, small jobs and repairs are carried out.
Detailed description
Also for the 2022 playing season (April to October) we are looking for a number of volunteers who come and help for 3-6 hours a month (may be more).
We are looking for extra help in the garden and canteen maintenance. Both mowing the lawn, checking playground equipment, small jobs in and around the canteen. This is how we keep it safe for the children. Especially in the spring and summer, the biggest job is mowing the lawn.

If you help 5x you get a free subscription and there is a volunteer party at the end of the season. During your shift there is free coffee and tea.
About Stichting Speeltuin Zeewijk
The Zeewijk Playground Foundation has been active for 25 years. Since 2018, the nature playground has been realized where children can come and play with their parents/grandparents from April to October. There are also school trips in June and July and we participate in the Fishing Loop and other activities and events. While the children can play safely, the adults can enjoy the terrace. Hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice cream are available in the canteen. We are a pleasant meeting place in Zeewijk for young and old. In addition to a 3-member board (chairman, treasurer and secretary), 3 coordinators (volunteers, maintenance, shopping) there is a group of volunteers for the canteen who ensure that the playground can be open. This group works 3 hours a week or every other week to make this possible. During the playing season, maintenance must also be carried out in the garden by the job and maintenance team. New volunteers are always welcome.
