Summary
Come and help 1 or 2 times a week or every other week during holiday opening hours. The services are from 2-5 pm. May, summer and autumn holidays.
Detailed description
Also for the 2022 playing season (April to October) we are looking for a number of volunteers who will help 2-3 hours a week (may be more) or 2 weeks during the holidays. May vacation summer vacation or autumn vacation. Days in consultation.
There are always 2 of you and together with an experienced volunteer. If you want to stay with a family member or friend, that is of course also possible. Children who can play in the playground during your shift.
Besides welcoming visitors, charging entrance fees, selling ice cream/drinks/sweets (everything mainly with pin), you supervise the playground. At the end of your shift, take a walk through the playground. And make sure everything is tidy for the next day.
There is already a group of volunteers: Canteen & Supervision, just not enough to guarantee that we can open every day.

If you stand 5x you get a free subscription and there is a volunteer party at the end of the season. During your shift there is free coffee and tea.

About Stichting Speeltuin Zeewijk
The Zeewijk Playground Foundation has been active for 25 years. Since 2018, the nature playground has been realized where children can come and play with their parents/grandparents from April to October. There are also school trips in June and July and we participate in the Fishing Loop and other activities and events. While the children can play safely, the adults can enjoy the terrace. Hot and cold drinks, snacks and ice cream are available in the canteen. We are a pleasant meeting place in Zeewijk for young and old. In addition to a 3-member board (chairman, treasurer and secretary), 3 coordinators (volunteers, maintenance, shopping) there is a group of volunteers for the canteen who ensure that the playground can be open. This group works 3 hours a week or every other week to make this possible. During the playing season, maintenance must also be carried out in the garden by the job and maintenance team. New volunteers are always welcome.
