About Stichting Sailing Kids

Sailing Kids Foundation offers families with a seriously or chronically ill child the opportunity to celebrate a fully catered adventurous sailing holiday on board a sailing charter ship free of charge. We also organize special walking tours for young people between the ages of 14-25. The often intensive care and attention for the sick child also has a major influence on the daily life of the other family members. Sailing on the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea is an experience and thanks to the unique atmosphere aboard a ship, the participants can fully enjoy a wonderful week of rest, relaxation and having fun. Medical care is taken over as much as possible by experienced doctors and nurses The meeting with others and the sharing of joys and sorrows prove to be of great value not only for the guests but also for the volunteers and crew.
