About Stichting SAVIE

Foundation "SAVIE" (Students Abroad Volunteering In Eastern Europe, formerly Foundation "We Help There") is an organization founded by students, dedicated to the less fortunate in Eastern Europe. Although the armed conflict in this area has been over for some time, the situation is far from ideal. Much work still needs to be done, especially in the field of social welfare! We contribute to this through the organization of five projects. We offer personal assistance and material support to mentally handicapped children and adults in Stamnica (Serbia), to Roma children in Veliko Gradiste (Serbia), to poor families in Sarajevo (Bosnia) and to physically disabled and children in the hospital in Rozaje (Montenegro) . These projects focus on personal attention for the elderly, children and the disabled.
