Detailed description
In Velserbroek, the Onder de Panne family home is a small-scale form of living for (young) adults with a disability between the ages of 19 and 35.
The starting point is a life as normal as possible, in the middle of society. That includes fun and meaningful work! All residents have 1 or more day care places. They rely on transportation to get there.
The foundation is therefore looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to take care of this for one or more half-days (morning and picking up afternoons, also occurs during the weekends). The foundation has 2 lease cars. The day activities are located in the region, including in Haarlem. Nice to combine with a cup of coffee or shopping.
As a volunteer you are not only necessary for the collection and delivery, but you are also a permanent beacon for the residents. With you they can tell their story and you are their first face which they see when they have worked and get into the car. Very valuable and important to them that they can tell their story.
