In Velserbroek is Gezinshuis Onder de Panne, a small-scale form of housing for (young) adults with a disability.

The starting point is a life as normal as possible, in the middle of society. A small team of professional counselors accompanies them in their daily lives. In addition, there are volunteers attached to the housing, who provide extra attention and activities, among other things. For example, walking, cycling, going to the theater or the cinema, going to a terrace ect ect. In short, having fun activities with 1 or more residents (between 19 and 35 years).

The foundation is looking for volunteers who want to commit themselves to the family home and who would like to undertake activities in and outside the home on a regular basis. A driver's license is important. The foundation has 2 lease cars.
