Detailed description
Once a month, swimming pool De Schaek (Twello) opens its doors only and especially for elderly people with dementia. Mrs Fish. (abbreviated due to privacy) enjoyed it immensely last time and is therefore looking for a permanent buddy (supervisor) for the next time.
The volunteer activities will therefore consist of:
- Pick up Mrs from location Rumah Saya (Ugchelen);
- Swimming together in an extra heated swimming pool;
- Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea afterwards;
- Take Mrs. home.
Things to take into account:
- With your own transport to the swimming pool (Twello);
- Madam is capable enough to change herself;
- All expenses may be declared (mileage allowance + swimming tickets).
