Our shelter dogs need help!

Will you make a world of difference for our dogs?

Someone or more people who enjoy walking dogs, training them and playing with them. So we are not looking for people to teach others, but people who train a bit with the dogs while grooming and walking them. This involves walking on a loose leash, getting used to cats, etc. Of course we will guide you in this. It is also possible to train with our dogs in our group lessons.

They are different types of dogs. Dogs that have been given up because of behavior, because something is wrong with the owner or because they are pregnant.

The dogs that are registered first go through a selection procedure. If we think that they can be safely rehomed after some training, they come to us for shelter.

Unfortunately, due to lack of space, we can only accommodate to a limited extent. This means that we cannot fully meet the demand (180 times a month!!) but we do our best to help as much and as well as possible.

We are looking for:

Trustworthy people

People with dog experience

Those who want to help for a longer period of time

Preferably with a driver's license

Trustworthy

Respectful to people and animals

Fit enough to walk briskly

We request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) for our employees (there are no costs involved)

In the summer we also go paddle boarding with our dogs on the canal, swimming. We also walk them next to the bike. And we have a dog toy library with more than 100 games.

Our team consists largely of volunteers and interns from MBO and HBO courses.
