About Stichting Het Begint met Taal

Language and contact are indispensable to participate in society. If you speak the language, you can realize your ambitions and show who you are. Language coaching by volunteers is a powerful tool for the 600,000 newcomers who want to learn to speak the Dutch language better. The Het Begint met Taal foundation is the expert in the field of language coaching. We increase the awareness and effectiveness of language coaching with material, advice and training. As a national platform, we support 170 organizations that offer language coaching, spread over 400 locations. We also work with municipalities, employers and language schools.
