Detailed description
The board of the Glory Brederode Foundation (SHB) is looking for a secretary (M/F).
SHB is the tenant and operator of the Ruïne van Brederode in Santpoort South. The Ruin is owned by the Monuments Property Foundation (SMB).
The SHB has appointed a manager for the day-to-day management of the Ruin. The caretaker, with many volunteers, takes care of receiving the public and brings the history of the ruin to life for visitors through many different activities.
The SHB board is responsible for policy, financial management, fundraising and commissioning for day-to-day management. The board consists of volunteers and is unpaid. Due to the departure of the current secretary, there is a desire to fill the position in the short term.

About Stichting Heerlijkheid Brederode
In 2016, the Stichting Heerlijkheid Brederode (SHB) took over the management of the Ruin of Brederode by its owner, the national Monuments Property Foundation (SMB).
The board has appointed a manager in the person of Rob Kortekaas. He lives in the house on the Ruïneterrein and is responsible for the implementation of the annual programme. He manages and operates the Ruin, together with 60 volunteers.
The Ruin is open from March 1 to November 1.
The board consists of 4 persons: a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer.
