The Heartbeat Foundation annually organizes the HeartRace Circuit Day, a day dedicated to racing at the Zandvoort Circuit Park for families with a young heart patient. The HeartRace Circuit Day is made possible by the selfless efforts of many volunteers. The Zandvoort Circuit Park makes the accommodation available and the OCA takes care of occupation of all track posts. And the cars ... Owners of sports and racing cars, importers and car magazines ensure a spectacular field of participants. The highlight of the day is riding in one of the cars, but a round of riding is certainly not the only thing to do on the circuit.
Families can, for example, participate in a ride on the boulevard, ride with a Dakar participant, go to the BMW Slipschool, get in the simulator or ride a quad. Activities abound.
On the day itself, volunteers can help with the construction and dismantling, with parking, with safe entry and exit and with the attractions. In the run-up to the event, volunteers are needed who make contact with car companies / owners, in particular to get some really spectacular cars to visit.
