Who are we?

The Green Light Foundation helps people to better participate (participate) in our society. Language is the key to participation.

Sometimes it takes more than language lessons to help you with this. That is why we also provide support and training. This makes living, living and working in the Netherlands easier. It improves your contacts with others and increases your independence. Everybody is different. We look at what you need.

The Groen Licht Foundation is a volunteer organization. We work at various locations in Venlo, Blerick and Tegelen. More than 100 volunteers are committed to the participants every day. Tasks change and participants sometimes also become volunteers.

Activities

The training has one day of theory (Monday) and the rest of the week the students work at work placements. You teach on Mondays and:

• also teaches your students to be proud of themselves and gives them confidence in their own abilities.

• You teach Dutch, arithmetic and social studies.
• You work in a team.

We ask

You have completed an HBO teacher training or PABO.

You have an affinity with our target group (foreign-speaking adults and young people up to the age of 21 who need a learning environment instead of a school one).

Time commitment

Weekly during a school year on Mondays at least one half day (4 hours).
