Activities Coordinator (for youth and young adults)

Who are we?

Stichting Gewoon Gegund organizes activities for young people, young adults and families who need a moment to recharge. We need extra hands for this. As Activities coordinator, you are involved in planning, organizing and executing various activities that Stichting Gewoon Gegund organizes. You work together with the board and other stakeholders (such as other volunteers) to organize activities that suit our target groups.

Expected time spent

Stichting Gewoon Gegund organizes 6-10 activities per year, which we plan during school holidays. As an Activities coordinator, you are expected to spend an average of 4 hours per week on this function during holiday periods. Outside of the holidays, the work will include approximately 1 hour per month. The effort we require depends on the activity and the preparation time. That is why we appreciate flexibility in planning and the willingness to sometimes invest extra time from our volunteers.

The tasks in a nutshell

• Identifying the needs and interests of the target group and developing a varied range of activities based on this.
• Collaborate with the board and other stakeholders to determine objectives and budgets for activities.
• Planning and organizing activities, including arranging locations, purchasing materials and any permits.
• Coordinating volunteers and other stakeholders to ensure that activities run smoothly.
• Providing promotion and communication around the activities, both internally and externally.
• Monitor the quality and impact of activities and make adjustments as necessary to meet needs and expectations.
• Evaluate activities and collect feedback from participants, volunteers and other stakeholders to encourage continuous improvement.
• Report to the board on progress, results and any challenges related to the activities.
