Summary
Thanks to you, the foundation is well represented online!Detailed description
We have a beautiful website that you manage, maintain, and regularly update. You'll regularly post interesting messages on our social media channels for our various target audiences. We can also leave it to you to devise and implement creative ways to attract more visitors to our digital channels.
What responsibilities do you have?
- You will ensure appropriate communication materials within our corporate identity, contributing to the foundation's reputation. This involves close contact with the board and the communications expert.
- You manage our website;
- You will be involved in the (further) development of our website, in close consultation with our communications expert and the board;
- You'll keep our current social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) up-to-date by regularly posting engaging messages relevant to our target audience. You'll also provide tips to our volunteers on how to create additional engaging content. You'll also respond to any questions or other messages we receive.
- You ensure that content to be posted meets SEO standards for internet search;
- You monitor developments in other social media channels and advise the board when we should focus on new or different channels to reach our target groups;
- Analyze and interpret user statistics and respond to them and implement changes where necessary;
- You attend the biannual general volunteer meetings as much as possible, as well as other activities and events.
We are looking for:
- Someone who recognizes themselves in and acts according to our core values: Reliable, helpful and committed;
- Someone with a heart for pet welfare;
- Someone with courage, who stands firm and dares to engage in discussions, both internally and externally;
- Someone with flexible availability (everything in consultation);
- Someone for a longer period of time (at least 6 months);
- Someone with a lot of passion and dedication.
What do we offer you?
- A great and rewarding volunteer position at a fantastic foundation with committed volunteers;
- Annual outings, presents and meetings;
- You can take interesting courses and training for free through the Dierenlot Academy and other volunteer organizations;
- You are collectively insured through the municipality.
Does this sound appealing? Contact us soon! We look forward to hearing from you and would love to discuss the possibilities.

About Stichting Dierenvoedselbank Vallei & Veluwe
Animal Food Bank Vallei en Veluwe is a charity that has been committed to helping people in that region who live below the poverty line with their pet(s) since 2016, and who are therefore unable to fully feed and care for their pet(s). A group that often lives in social isolation and for whom the pet is of great emotional value.
We provide additional pet food and pet supplies so that owners can keep and care for their pet responsibly. In addition, we help our customers with advice, information and education, and we mediate where necessary.
With a helpful, reliable and committed team of volunteers, we work regionally from our distribution locations in Wageningen, Ede, Renkum, Rhenen and Veenendaal. As a result, more than 500 times a separation for financial reasons between owner and pet has been prevented in recent years. Animal Food Bank Vallei en Veluwe is not for profit, but does have ANBI status.
