Detailed description

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As an organizer / planner Advisory Group you ensure that the quarterly meetings of our Advisory Group are arranged down to the smallest detail and that all members know exactly where and when they are expected. The Advisory Group consists of eight young people with a visual impairment who advise Dedicon about the products and services that we offer.

WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU GET STARTED?

You need input to get started with the organization. You receive this input from us, in consultation, on office days (Monday and Thursday) between 9 am and 5 pm at the head office in Grave. All meetings take place on Saturday in consultation with the Advisory members. You are free to organize your time for organizing and reporting on the meetings.

You will receive an introductory course that includes getting to know the organization, getting to know Dedicon products and services, getting to know the members of the Advisory Group and being guided in global planning and coming up with themes.

The time investment per year is approximately 65 hours:

• 4 x 8 hours for the organization of the meetings;

• 3 x 8 hours before attendance at the meetings;

• 3 x 3 hours for reporting.

WHAT DO WE ASK FROM YOU?

• You are between 18 and 30 years old.

• You live in the Grave area (Nijmegen, Arnhem, Den Bosch, Eindhoven).

• You have a higher professional education and thinking level.

• You are someone with communication and organizational skills.

• You speak and write Dutch correctly.

• You are familiar with Microsoft Office.

WHAT DO YOU GET IN RETURN?

• You gain practical work and practical experience that you can use later in your career.

• You get insight into the products and services of Dedicon.

• You get to know new people, good for your network.

• You learn to work together in a team.

• It is a fun and useful use of time.

• You will receive a recognized certificate on request if you work for at least 50 hours.

• You will receive a travel allowance if you do not have Student Public Transport.

• And of course the great feeling that through your effort someone with a visual or other reading disability can enjoy one of our products and services.

HOW TO REGISTER

Do you want to become one of our two organizational heroes? Send your resume and motivation to Anneke Wijtvliet: annekewijtvliet@dedicon.nl. Do you have a question? Then you can use the same contact details.

About Stichting Dedicon
