Detailed description
Various themed gardens have been laid out on the grounds of the Ulebelt. A flower herb garden, a butterfly garden, a permaculture garden, wool paint plate garden, tea garden, rock plant garden and a botanical garden. These gardens are maintained by volunteers. They usually work independently. Visitors can enjoy these gardens and also get ideas for their own garden. The activities are: thinking along and helping with setting up, sowing, planting, hoeing, weeding, pruning and possibly harvesting. Interest in nature-friendly gardening is desired. We are looking for people who, independently or with others, enjoy helping a garden grow and flourish. This can be a few hours a month or several days a week. For the botanical garden, it would be nice if someone would like to think along and join events several times a year. So if you would like to work in one of the theme gardens, please let us know!
