As a volunteer with professional experience, you and a supporting staff will work with a group of up to 4 young children who need something extra.
Detailed description
Are you the professional we are looking for?
● You have an affinity with the children who are cared for at De Stampertjes.
● You have professional work experience with young children and have completed child-oriented, (ortho)pedagogical training, SPH, SPW, or healthcare-related training.
● You are permanently available on Monday afternoon or Thursday morning or afternoon. Furthermore, there is a volunteer meeting once every 2 months.
As a professional, you and a supporting staff supervise a group of a maximum of 4 young children. Together you offer the children a fun daily schedule and discuss with your colleague who does what. You are jointly responsible. As a professional, you can be linked (as an additional task) to a child (family), conduct the intake interview and remain the substantive contact person for them. You keep an eye on the details of this child, conduct evaluation and progress discussions with the parents, keep the child's file up to date and arrange the birthday and farewell party.
We would like to receive your CV with your application. If you come to work for us, a Certificate of Good Conduct will be applied for for you. You will also receive a Pediatric First Aid course every year and you can participate in further training courses and workshops offered by the VWC (Volunteer Center Haarlem and the surrounding area) and by the SIG (a large organization for housing and day care for people with disabilities). For the rest, you will become part of a highly motivated, committed and fun team.

About Stichting De Stampertjes
De Stampertjes is a volunteer organization that offers respite care in the form of small-scale day care to young children aged 0 to 4 who need extra support. Children with a physical or mental disability, children with a chronic illness, children with a developmental delay and/or children from vulnerable families are lovingly cared for by qualified (ortho) pedagogical group employees and support staff. Our goal is to relieve parents of these young children who need something extra by offering day care.
