For the De Rode Steen foundation in Hoorn we are looking for employees for the Cheese Market, such as cheese carriers, typesetters, farmers, traders and cheese girls.
The Hoorn cheese market dates back to around 1500. We revive this market in the summer months. We are always looking for new colleagues. Cheese carriers, for example. Who would have thought that it could ever be. Here is your chance, young and old are welcome. And both men and women, Dutch and fellow nationals. These cheese markets are every year from week 25 to week 35 on Tuesday afternoons (from noon to 4 pm). And afterwards cozy and free after-dinner on a terrace on the Roode Steen.
