The Da Capo board is looking for a new secretary. Will you come and support Da Capo as secretary? This is unpaid volunteer work.

Who are we?

The Da Capo Foundation is a volunteer organization that focuses on migrants, and women in particular. It is an accessible organization where women are welcome for language and activation. Participating in society only works well if the language level is high enough and the self-reliance is sufficient to be able to arrange daily affairs yourself.

Activities

- A socially committed person who enjoys supporting Da Capo. You have an advisory role (towards project coordinator) and a supervisory role (financially and operationally). You provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the project coordinator.

- You are available for a board meeting 5 times a year (currently on an afternoon during the week)

- You contribute ideas to matters such as fundraising, subsidy options, collaboration opportunities and Da Capo's activities

- Occasionally you attend discussions with an important partner such as the municipality or a possible collaboration partner

- You take minutes of the meetings and draw up the agenda

We ask

- You are well versed in the social sector, preferably in Apeldoorn and/or the language sector (formal/informal)

- You can help the board and the foundation through your knowledge of the sector with input, ideas, connections with other organizations, etc.

- You can contribute ideas when drawing up the annual plans and budget

- You prefer to have some knowledge of fundraising and can support the project coordinator in this

  • You are good at taking minutes

We offer

  • A pleasant working environment
  • Satisfaction from a social point of view

Time commitment

Meetings 5 times a year and occasionally assisting if desired.
