Summary

You support the Empowerment of Migrant Women course. You teach language and talk about special themes surrounding emancipation, volunteer work, training and the labor market.

Detailed description

Who are we?

The Da Capo Foundation supports migrant women in better integrating and participating in society. She does this by offering various activities such as language lessons, courses, cycling lessons, participating as a volunteer in the sewing workshop or the cooking studio.

Activities

You teach language based on the material covered by the language teacher. You partially repeat this lesson and supplement. You mainly practice speaking Dutch.

Certain themes are discussed such as emancipation, applying for jobs, volunteer work, etc. You must enjoy discussing this and preferably have some experience with this.

After the course, you will also refer the women to an activity, training, course or other language course. Depending on the personal plans the women have made.

We ask

Enthusiasm, affinity with the target group and preferably some experience.

We offer

a friendly organization and grateful participants who always go one step further and continue to learn the language.

Time commitment

1 half day a week (and a little preparation) of 3 hours
