The State of Youth_Karnal Chapter is seeking a young and creative Graphic Designer to join our team.Detailed description
This role is ideal for students and young artists who are passionate about using their artistic skills to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging graphics for social media, posters, flyers, and other promotional materials.
- Collaborate with our team to create visually appealing content for various projects.
- Bring fresh and innovative design ideas to support our initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Age: 9-18 years.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles.
- Familiarity with Canva or willingness to learn. Knowledge of Canva is a plus but not mandatory.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- A Canva Pro account will be provided to you.
- This is a volunteer position with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful projects.

State of Youth_Karnal Chapter is a dynamic platform committed to empowering the youth of Karnal to be proactive leaders and change-makers in their community. Our aim is to create an inclusive space where young people can unite to address pressing local and global challenges, leveraging their collective strength and creativity.
We envision SoY Karnal Chapter where every young person has the opportunity and resources to drive positive change, fostering a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future for all.
Our mission is to inspire and mobilize the youth of Karnal by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to take impactful action on social, educational, and environmental issues. We believe that by empowering the youth, we are investing in the leaders of tomorrow who will shape a brighter future.
State of Youth Karnal Chapter and NGO Artivist Foundation was established by siblings Yatharth and Deepangana Verma as a youth-led nonprofit organization. The foundation is dedicated to uplifting underserved children in Karnal and beyond by providing them with opportunities to explore their creativity, enhance their education, and develop essential life skills.
Initiatives Under the State of Youth Karnal Chapter:
1. Serving Underserved Children: The Artivist Foundation is focused on bridging the gap between privilege and need by offering marginalized children access to art, extracurricular education, and essential resources. Through initiatives like art workshops, educational resource collections, and digital literacy drives, we aim to empower these children to realize their full potential.
2. Youth Engagement: We actively involve the youth of Karnal in our projects, encouraging them to take leadership roles and contribute to the betterment of their community. Through intergenerational initiatives, we bring together young people, parents, and elders to work collaboratively on projects that address critical issues such as education, gender equality, and social inclusion.
3. Environmental Initiatives: The State of Youth Karnal Chapter is also deeply committed to environmental sustainability. We run programs that promote environmental awareness and action, such as e-waste recycling drives, biofuel production from used cooking oil, and tree planting campaigns. These initiatives not only help protect our planet but also educate and engage the community in sustainable practices.
Through these diverse initiatives, the State of Youth_Karnal Chapter, in partnership with the Artivist Foundation, is making a tangible impact on the lives of children and the broader community. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where every child and young person can thrive, contributing to a more compassionate and resilient society.
