Do you have a passion for walking and do you enjoy guiding others during an active morning in nature? SRO Velsen is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to guide our cozy (senior) walking group once or twice a month!
What does it entail?
Every week we organize a walk of about 6 km in the beautiful surroundings of Velsen. For these walks we are looking for a volunteer who is available once or twice a month to help. During the walk we also do muscle strengthening exercises, so it is important that you can perform these and guide the group.
The walks start at 9:00 at swimming pool De Heerenduinen, although we sometimes start from a different location. Afterwards there is time to talk and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea (free). The entire activity takes about two hours.
We are looking for someone who:
· Is familiar with the area around Velsen and knows beautiful hiking trails.
· Enjoy contributing to a healthy and fun activity.
