Loan Employee

The Toy Library is open every Friday evening from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturday morning from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Members can borrow and return their toys during these hours. Volunteers are contacted quarterly to check their availability, and you can indicate when you'd like to work. You'll be scheduled for work approximately every three weeks.

As a volunteer, you'll arrive half an hour beforehand to make preparations and set out reserved toys. During opening hours, you'll speak with our members, collect toys, and check that everything is complete and in good order. You'll check out any toys that are brought in. You'll process this and any administrative tasks directly in our online lending system.

You'll also welcome new members and help them sign up if needed. There's also time for a chat, of course. An experienced key holder is always present. At the end of the opening, you'll help clean up and close everything up.
