Summary
Approximately once or twice a month, providing support to those for whom doing the administration and keeping it in order is/becomes too much effort.Detailed description
It is expected that these people will not be able to do the administration independently in the future. Therefore, the support is indefinite.
What are you going to do?
As a volunteer you come to people's homes. Depending on the request for assistance, the following tasks occur:
1. Organizing and maintaining financial administration (such as organizing mail, creating a folder with tabs) through a home visit.
2. Analyzing the problem.
3. Creating structure in income and expenditure.
4. Applying for and completing forms together.
5. Familiarize them with the legislation and regulations, and see whether they make use of existing facilities such as Special Assistance and allowances.
6. Show the way to, for example, Sociaal Raadslieden, SVB, Tax Authorities.
7. Referring to debt counselling.
What do we ask of you?
Affinity with administration and basic knowledge of finance. Understanding and being able to explain Dutch letters.
What do we have to offer you?
As a volunteer you start with an introductory course and you are welcome to intervision meetings and further training. You will be guided by the coordinator.

Working time
As a volunteer you make home visits once or twice a month. Visiting multiple people is possible.

Since January 2018, we have been part of WELSAAM, the partnership responsible for carrying out activities in the field of meeting, supporting and participating in Samen Wageningen. We also work together and on behalf of housing associations, education, healthcare institutions and residents of Wageningen.
