Summary
Break the week of a cordial, pleasant lady who has dementia and doesn't speak to many people anymore.
Detailed description
The lady is alone, is a pleasant talker and nice company, but finds it difficult to make and keep in touch, while that is good for her.
She is looking for someone for company (a woman), a relaxed chat, a cup of coffee, relaxing activities such as going into town (the lady lives in the center) or helping to establish / keep in touch with neighbors. Preferably not on Wednesday morning and Thursday morning.
You are interested in people and you want to give someone a nice few hours. You are primarily there for the other person and have a healthy sense of responsibility.
What does Solidez offer you as a volunteer?
Each volunteer receives basic training for care volunteers of 2 half-days.
In addition, there are regular informative meetings about themes and more informal ones for fun.
You will receive good substantive guidance from a professional from Mantelzorg Wageningen.
We request a Declaration on Behavior for every volunteer, on behalf of our target group.
