Do you have an hour a week to spare and do you enjoy reading books with young children? Then we are looking for you!
For a warm family in Wageningen we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to come by regularly to read to their daughter. She will be 4 years old in August and is full of curiosity and fantasy. The parents would like their daughter to come into contact with the Dutch language more, and reading is a nice and playful way to help with that.
What are you going to do?
- Visit the family once a week (in consultation).
- Reading books with the girl, talking about the stories and possibly playing with language.
- Becoming a familiar face that the girl looks forward to.
What do we ask of you?
- You speak Dutch well.
- You enjoy working with young children.
- You are friendly, reliable and can come by on a regular basis.
